The Canon EF-S 18-200mm Digital Camera Lens is a fantastic lens for any type of photographer. It has a large focal length equivalent to 29-320mm in the 35 mm setting. It’s also easy to lug around as it is relatively compact and as a result weighs very little.
A feature we really like was the lenses magnification range, no image escaped this lens. Incorporated into the lens is a circular aperture that can give the background a kind or blur effect, which actually looks quite nice.

The Good:

- Fast acting auto focus
- Excellent color retention
- Optical Image Stabilizer works a treat
- Shutter speed is only 4 stops slower than what is possible
The Bad:
- In low light picture quality isn’t as sharp
This camera lens would be ideal for:
- People who want a quality lens without paying 4 figures
- Professional photographers
- Hobbyists

The Bottom Line:
Overall, Canon EF-S 18-200mm Digital Camera Lens is simply awesome. The image clarity a wide magnification capabilities rivals some lenses that cost significantly more. Sure there are cheaper lenses on the market, but the quality of this lens is far superior.
